Five Spring Sundays, Five Spring Tarts

It’s Spring and, with Covid mostly ‘over,’ it’s time to return to the table together for some side-by-side writing.

Announcing a quarterly, seasonal return to the tradition of Tarts.

One of the hardest things for a writer is being alone and facing the page or the screen.

One cannot be alone while someone else is cooking for them.

In my small house, writers claim their spot and enjoy side by side solitude.

Five Spring Sundays, Five Tarts is the antidote. We write in community.

A life long writer, I believe that writers deserve a a reward for lowering themselves into the mine of their memory and imagination to search for their material, their gold.

The smell of the baking tart, and the taste of the warm tart with cream is a divine sublime way to come together — a lure as you write. A way to share your words with others, and give them your attention.
